King Schools, Bad Elf, Jeppesen and Redbird Announce Cygnus
Bad Elf, Inc., the manufacturer of the just released the Bad Elf GPS Pro, next-generation portable GPS receiver and data logger designed exclusively for the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad, and with Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc., along with their marketing partners King Schools, Inc. and Jeppesen Sanderson are proud to announce Cygnus, a whole new way to train pilots to use any of the dozens of iPad
based aviation applications.
Cygnus allows a pilot to use any aviation or navigation application running on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch while connected to any one of a wide range of flight simulation software products. When using Cygnus during a simulation session the iPad and the aviation application it is running will believe that it is located wherever the aircraft in the active simulation is located.

Jeppesen is offering a free 6 month chart subscription with each Cygnus purchase.

Cygnus is available in two versions: Cygnus Pro Wireless allows wireless connection via Bluetooth of up to 6 iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices simultaneously and Cygnus Home Direct which connects directly to the iPad device using a special Cygnus cable.
